They provide travellers with outstanding service, helping to make their travel planning easy and seamless, and inspiring more people to come to Nova Scotia.

Visitor Information Centres

Tourism Nova Scotia operates five provincial visitor information centres (VICs) throughout the province in Amherst, the Halifax Stanfield International Airport,  Peggy’s Cove, Port Hastings, and Yarmouth.

Tourism Nova Scotia offers Nova Scotia businesses and organizations an opportunity to display their brochures in provincial VICs. Please review the guidelines to determine if you are eligible and what is required.

See Contact Us for provincial VIC contact information and hours of operation.

Community Visitor Information Centres

Organizations throughout Nova Scotia operate visitor information centres in their communities during the busy tourism months. While Tourism Nova Scotia does not manage these centres, we do provide financial support to eligible centres through our Community VIC Funding Program which is administered by several industry partners.

See the list of community VICs. This list is updated each spring.

Reach out to the VICs near you to make sure they have up to date information about your business, including specials, packages, or operational changes for the year.
