Tourism Nova Scotia operates six provincial visitor information centres (VICs) at the following locations throughout the province: Amherst, the Halifax Stanfield International Airport, Halifax waterfront, Peggy’s Cove, Port Hastings, and Yarmouth. Tourism Nova Scotia also partners with the Halifax Convention Centre to offer on-site travel counselling to thousands of event delegates at the convention centre during national and international events
Our visitor services team provides expert knowledge and friendly, personalized service to help visitors have a memorable experience in Nova Scotia. This includes providing directions and information, creating itineraries and making recommendations on products and services.
Tourism Nova Scotia offers Nova Scotia businesses and organizations an opportunity to display their brochures in provincial VICs. Please review the guidelines to determine if you are eligible and what is required.
See Contact Us for provincial VIC contact information and hours of operation.
Community Visitor Information Centres
Organizations throughout Nova Scotia operate visitor information centres in their communities. While Tourism Nova Scotia does not manage these centres, we do provide financial support to eligible centres through our Community VIC Funding Program which is administered by several different industry partners.
