Sport tourism is the fastest growing segment of the tourism industry, worth over $6.5 billion in Canada. The largest gathering of the Canadian sport tourism industry will be heading to Halifax, Nova Scotia from March 7-9, 2018.
This marks the first time the Congress will be held in Atlantic Canada. This event draws more than 400 sport event rights holders, tourism professionals, event management firms, and suppliers from the sport tourism industry, and will be held at the Halifax Convention Centre.
The Congress provides opportunity for destinations to present their community to sport organizations seeking a host partner; to take in superb professional development presentations; to network with the brightest and best minds in the sport tourism industry; and to connect elected officials with other like-minded champions of sport tourism.
