Destination Canada hosts a quarterly Twitter discussion featuring the top travel experiences in Canada, called #CanadaChat.
Each discussion focuses on a new travel topic, and provides an opportunity to share information about your business or community with travellers interested in learning more about Canada. More than 800 active users participate in the conversation, including travellers, tourism operators, and destination marketing organizations. Not only will your posts be seen by people participating in the chat, they could be shared by Destination Canada via @ExploreCanada and @ExplorezSansFin, a community of over 500,000 followers!
Destination Canada will announce a series of questions that will be asked during each chat. To participate, post answers to the questions that highlight visitor experiences you want to promote, along with engaging photos, and include the hashtag #CanadaChat.
Add #CanadaChat to your social media content calendar, and be prepared to share the best of what you have to offer visitors. The next #CanadaChat will take place on Wednesday, June 19 from 2-3pm Atlantic Time. The topic is Summer in Canada.
