TNS Staff Changes

It is with mixed emotions that we share news with our industry that Kim Jardine, Manager of Sales and Travel Media has accepted a position with the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration as Manager of the Provincial Nominee Program.

Kim has been a valued member of the provincial tourism team for 19 years. She’s worked hard to raise Nova Scotia’s profile as a vacation destination through her work with the travel trade and travel media. She led sales and marketing efforts in Germany, UK and China, and has worked closely with the Halifax International Airport Authority and other partners to help support air routes to Nova Scotia from priority tourism markets.

Kim’s last day in the office will be March 31.

Linda Murphy, Market Development Specialist, is retiring after more than 22 years of promoting our amazing province. During her tourism career, Linda worked in marketing and most recently has been a key member of our travel trade sales team. She has been a strong promoter of Nova Scotia with our North American tour operators and cruise partners.

We thank Linda for her valued contribution and we wish her well in her retirement! Linda’s last day in our Windsor office will be March 21.
