We’re pleased to share that Peter Johnson was the successful applicant for the position of Manager of Market Development.
In this role, Peter is responsible for fostering the growth of tourism as a key economic driver, by leading the market development team in the analysis, development, and implementation of travel trade and travel media initiatives in our key markets. Peter brings over 16 years of experience working with Tourism Nova Scotia with the Quality Services, Development and Planning, Marketing and Market Development teams.

Welcome Alex Handley!
Alexandra Handley has joined the communications team as Communications Advisor. In this role, she is primarily responsible for media relations, communications planning and content development to support our corporate communications objectives.
Alex recently moved to Halifax from Alberta where she worked with the Public Affairs branch of the Alberta Energy Regulator.

We are pleased to announce that Katherine Wadden has returned to Tourism Nova Scotia as Tourism Development Advisor with our Sector Development team. Katherine previously worked with our digital marketing team and most recently worked with our sister Crown corporation, Nova Scotia Business Inc.
