Tourism Nova Scotia Launches New Awareness Campaign in the U.K.

Monday, March 19, 2018

Tourism Nova Scotia is delighted to announce the launch of a major consumer competition in partnership with the multi award-winning and leading Canada travel expert Canadian Affair. The one week campaign will be broadcast on Heart Radio in London and throughout Scotland.

Scheduled to begin today, Monday, March 19, 2018, Heart listeners will be encouraged to answer a question about Nova Scotia, with a chance to win a seven-night trip for two to Nova Scotia that includes direct flights from London or Glasgow, car rental, exclusive accommodations, and a packed itinerary, designed by Canadian Affair.

The competition is the latest initiative from Tourism Nova Scotia as part of its ongoing commitment to the U.K. market.

“It’s an exciting time for the province and we are delighted to be working with Canadian Affair,” says Emma Cashmore, Account Director, U.K. Tourism Nova Scotia.

The U.K. is Nova Scotia’s largest overseas source market and benefits from direct flights between London Heathrow and Halifax, and Glasgow and Halifax. From April this year, this key market’s access to Halifax will strengthen further when WestJet introduces a low-cost direct service from London Gatwick.
