Welcome back Hannah Crawford!

Hannah Crawford has rejoined the Market Development Team as Market Development Coordinator. She returned to Tourism Nova Scotia in January of 2018 after spending two years marketing the Halifax Shopping Centre. Prior to that, Hannah spent more than two years on Tourism Nova Scotia’s marketing team. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Saint Mary’s University. In her current role with Tourism Nova Scotia, Hannah works closely with industry through the Familiarization Tour Program, with both travel trade and travel media guests.

Welcome Patricia Pardy!

Patricia Pardy has joined the Market Development Team as Market Development Specialist (UK & Germany). Patricia will be responsible for carrying out Tourism Nova Scotia’s sales objectives in the European market by leading market development programming through our business-to-business strategy. Patricia has over 25 years of experience working in the tourism and hospitality industry, and has been employed in various hospitality sectors including hotels, restaurants, boat tour operations, and meetings and conventions. Patricia worked most recently at the newly opened Halifax Convention Centre.  She holds a Bachelor of Political Science and Business Minor from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Tourism Management Diploma from Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario.

Welcome Colleen McNeil!

Colleen McNeil has joined Human Resources as HR Associate. Along with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Saint Mary’s University and Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management from Nova Scotia Community College, Colleen brings experience from both McInnes Cooper and BOYNECLARKE LLP law firms.

Welcome Emily Jackson!

Emily Jackson has joined Tourism Nova Scotia’s Research and Policy Team as Senior Policy Analyst. Prior to joining Tourism Nova Scotia, Emily worked as a Policy Analyst in Finance, Infrastructure and Municipal Affairs with the Ontario and Nova Scotia provincial governments. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Dalhousie University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Calgary.
