All About Rendez-vous Canada (RVC) 2018!

Monday, April 16, 2018

From May 13 to 16, 2018, Nova Scotia will host over 1,800 tourism professionals from across Canada and around the world at the new Halifax Convention Centre on Argyle Street.

They’re coming for Rendez-vous Canada (RVC) 2018, Destination Canada’s signature international tourism marketplace that connects the international travel trade with Canada’s tourism industry.

About RVC 2018

RVC is organized in partnership with the Tourism Industry Association of Canada, and hosted in a different Canadian city each year.

During the speed-dating-style part of the event known as Marketplace, travel trade buyers meet with tourism sellers through a series of brief, pre-organized one-on-one appointments to discover the best-of-the-best Canadian travel experiences.

Beyond the Marketplace, RVC offers attendees networking opportunities, presentations from various Canadian destination marketing organizations, and time for city day tours. Select travel trade get to explore Atlantic Canada before and after the event on familiarization tours throughout Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland & Labrador.

RVC 2018 Event Schedule

The RVC 2018 event schedule blocks time for Marketplace appointments, industry luncheons, day tours within and around Halifax, free evenings to explore the host city, and a night to celebrate the host region: Atlantic Canada.
