Nova Scotia is famous for our incredible coastal experiences, including our seaside accommodations, restaurants, and attractions. Nova Scotia's 13,000-kilometre coastline is vulnerable to climate change, which increases risks of erosion, flooding, storm surges and rising sea levels. Property owners, communities and coastal tourism business owners along our coasts must take the extra steps to prepare and stay safe from these risks. Resources are available to help you make informed business decisions about your coastal property.
