Create a New Website for Your Business Through the Website Bootcamp Program

Wednesday, February 10, 2021

Tourism Nova Scotia’s Website Bootcamp program, offered in partnership with Digital Nova Scotia, helps eligible tourism businesses develop new mobile-friendly websites and learn the skills to create and maintain compelling web content.

The second workshop in this program will be held virtually on March 23-24.

The cost to participate is $150. The deadline to apply for the March workshop is Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 4pm.

See the program guidelines and apply online at https://tourismns.ca/programs/website-bootcamp-program

Selected participants will work with website developers from Boostflow during a two-day virtual workshop to create a new website on the Wix platform or migrate their content and domain from an underperforming website to a new site on Wix. The workshops include online learning modules, virtual group check-ins where participants can ask questions and get advice on building specific components of their website, and one-on-one virtual meetings with the facilitators. Boostflow will do a final review of the website with participants before it goes live.

Participants in the first workshop held in early February are already starting to launch their new websites.

"The bootcamp was intense - but worth the effort. The session motivated and trained us to a create new website in 48 hours - that's pretty incredible! Wix is a really user friendly platform that offers small businesses many options to run their website more effectively. Boostflow was great at sharing information and their skills to make it all come together. We got new bookings within the first 6 hours of the website going live!" said Tara Laceby, operator of Gourmet By Nature Wild Food Guiding and Tours, who participated in the first Website Bootcamp workshop.

Apply to the Website Bootcamp now and have a new website ready for spring.
