Tourism Nova Scotia (TNS) has successfully completed the third year of the Compelling Tourism Communities (CTC) Initiative, which helps local leaders promote tourism in their communities through destination development, visitor servicing, advertising, marketing and digital adoption.
From April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, TNS worked with over 60 partners and over 124 communities across the province through nine CTC programs. Partners included businesses, chambers of commerce, municipalities, tourism sector associations and community tourism groups.
The CTC initiative allows TNS to work even closer with communities to attract visitors and increase tourism spending.
TNS created CTC regional reports highlighting the results achieved:
- Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley
- Cape Breton Island
- Eastern Shore
- Halifax Metro
- Northumberland Shore
- South Shore
- Yarmouth & Acadian Shores
