How to use the Canada-China Year of Tourism Logo

Wednesday, April 25, 2018

To celebrate their deep ties, the governments of Canada and China officially named 2018 the Canada-China Year of Tourism (CCYT). It's an incredible opportunity for Canada and China to celebrate their shared history and what makes them unique.

The CCYT logo is inspired by circular designs found in Canadian and Chinese society and culture, such as in coins, Chinese calligraphy and the yin-yang. Circular organic shapes represent unity and express the friendliness and togetherness of the CCYT initiative. The logo also includes the popular bears of both countries, which is not only playful but also symbolic.
