Tourism Nova Scotia has released its latest tourism indicators. 

Highlights include:

• Tourism activity generated tourism revenues of $1.4 billion in the first six months of 2026, up 2.4% (or $32 million) compared with 2025.
• Through August, passenger boardings were up 10% at Halifax Stanfield International Airport and 2% at J.A. Douglas McCurdy Sydney Airport compared with the same period in 2025.
• Through July, Nova Scotia accommodation operators reported 1.7 million room nights sold, an increase of 6% over the same period in 2025.
