This week, Team Nova Scotia is joining tourism leaders from across the country at Rendez-vous Canada 2026, Canada’s premier international travel trade marketplace. With more than 1,400 delegates, 500 international buyers from 24 markets and over 60,000 pre-scheduled business appointments, this year’s event highlights growing global demand for Canadian travel experiences.
For Nova Scotia tourism businesses, events like RVC create valuable opportunities to build relationships with tour operators, wholesalers and travel advisors who help bring international visitors to our province. As global travel demand continues to grow, strengthening export sales through travel trade partnerships is an important way to diversify markets and increase year-round visitation.
Tourism Nova Scotia is proud to support businesses looking to grow in the travel trade space through the EXPORT Travel Trade Program. The program helps businesses build readiness, strengthen sales strategies and connect with travel trade partners in key domestic and international markets.
Through the Marketplace Support stream, eligible export-ready businesses can receive up to $5,000 to offset registration costs for major travel trade marketplaces, including future editions of Rendez-vous Canada. Tourism Nova Scotia also offers one-on-one coaching and strategic support through the Travel Trade Readiness stream to help businesses prepare for long-term export growth.
As Team Nova Scotia showcases our province on the national stage this week, we look forward to creating new partnerships and opening doors for future visitation across Nova Scotia.
