Porter Airlines is adding capacity to Halifax starting March 31, 2024

Atlantic and Eastern Canadian visitors represent the largest share of visitors to Nova Scotia. These added flights will make it easier for those choosing Nova Scotia for their next vacation.  

The connections and start dates are: 

  • Halifax to Ottawa – March 31 with three daily roundtrip flights.  
  • Halifax to St. John’s, NFL – March 31 with two daily roundtrip flights increasing to three in May. 
  • Halifax to Montréal – March 31 with two daily roundtrip flights increasing to three in May. 

Routes will be operated by the Embraer E195-ES, which has more seats than the current the De Havilland Dash 8-400.
