Provincial Visitor Information Centres Opening in May

The six provincial visitor information centres (VICs) are getting ready to re-open in May. 

VICs will continue to operate under the COVID-19 safety protocols introduced in 2020 and use opportunities to deliver travel counselling outdoors when possible. The Yarmouth VIC will operate again in 2021 from the temporary location in the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia building at 341 Main St., Yarmouth. The building at 228 Main Street Yarmouth continues to be used as a COVID-19 testing centre.


The VIC operating schedules for 2021 are:

Halifax Stanfield International Airport
Re-Opening Friday, May 21, 2021
Open Monday – Friday from 10am – 4pm
 
Amherst
Re-opening Friday May 21, 2021
Open Daily from 9am - 5pm 
 
Peggy’s Cove/Port Hastings/Yarmouth/Halifax Waterfront
Re-opening Friday May 21, 2021 - Sunday, October 17, 2021
Open Daily from 9am – 5pm  

Tourism Contact Centre
Currently operating Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm
