The RADIATE Tourism Program continues to build on season extension with more than 40 fall travel packages across the province developed with 28 program partners. Packages encourage year round travel, featuring Nova Scotia flavours, art, culture, unique accommodations, outdoor adventures, and more.
Designed to help tourism operators build and market compelling travel experiences during the shoulder and winter seasons, the program supports businesses in creating packages that appeal to local and Atlantic Canadian travellers. This year's fall campaign runs from September 21 through to November 22 and packages showcase Nova Scotia communities across the province, from getaways in the city to vineyards, farms, forests and charming coastal towns this fall.
A tourism package combines two or more activities, services, products, or guided experiences into a single bookable offer. Packages can be created by one business or through partnerships with other tourism operators, creating added value and convenience for visitors, while encouraging visitors familiar with Nova Scotia to explore new places, have fun with hands-on experiences, connect with local experts, or relax on a coastal escape. Packages are available for stargazing or spa getaways, enjoying local flavours with Nova Scotia farmers, winemakers or chefs, and exploring Cape Breton’s by jeep or side-by-side. Escape to seaside or forested stays, take a guided walking tour of Lunenburg, hike coastlines shaped by the Bay of Fundy or relax near the Wild Islands of the Eastern Shore.
For returning program partner Domaine de Grand Pré, the benefits of participating in RADIATE continue to grow.
"In our third year of operating over the winter months, we saw a noticeable increase in traveller response to our packages. This level of local engagement signals growing awareness of our winter offerings and strong interest in experiential packages. We are considering adding an additional staff member to meet demand." - Cäcilia Stutz, Domaine de Grand Pré

Supporting Tourism Businesses Year-Round
Tourism Nova Scotia's RADIATE Tourism Program helps businesses build capacity through market research insights, package development coaching, promotional tools, and inclusion in Tourism Nova Scotia's seasonal marketing campaigns. Packages are also featured on NovaScotia.com, helping operators reach travellers who are actively planning getaways during the late-fall and winter months.
This season's marketing campaign continues to target local and Atlantic region travellers through digital advertising on Google, Meta, and Pinterest. The campaign builds on Tourism Nova Scotia's Compelling Tourism Communities Initiative by reconnecting with audiences who have already shown interest in visiting Nova Scotia, while also reaching new travellers searching for their next getaway.
From exceptional local flavours and guided experiences to cozy accommodations and memorable outdoor adventures, this year's RADIATE packages offer plenty of reasons for visitors to explore Nova Scotia this fall and winter.
