No one knows the most beautiful, special, and exciting things about Nova Scotia better than the people who live here. Tourism Nova Scotia invites you to share your favourite photos of “lesser-known” places to see and things to do in Nova Scotia, for a chance to win one of three Google Pixel 3 smartphones and have your photo featured on the cover of the next Doers & Dreamers Travel Guide.
How to enter: To enter the contest, log in to Instagram and upload your own photo of a restaurant, attraction or activity you would recommend to visitors. Be sure to use the hashtag #NovaScotiaUNLISTED.
Contest deadline: May 26, 2019
The prize: Three people will be chosen through a random draw to receive a Google Pixel 3. One photo entry will be selected by Tourism Nova Scotia to be featured on the cover of next Doers and Dreamers Travel Guide. The winner will receive a $2000 honorarium and photo credits in the guide.
Visitors love to get the inside scoop from locals about the hidden gems that don’t make the top 10 lists on travel blogs. With the #NovaScotiaUNLISTED contest, we’re gathering your recommendations to help inspire travellers to book a vacation to Nova Scotia.
We’ll showcase select entries in a gallery on NovaScotia.com, and promote the gallery to visitors in our target markets of Ontario and the United States through digital advertising. The ads will call on travellers to vote for their favorite photos/experiences. Travellers who cast their votes will have a chance to win a trip for two to Nova Scotia. Some photo entries will also get promoted in Tourism Nova Scotia’s social media advertising.
