Tourism Nova Scotia 2024 Marketing Campaigns

We are excited to share our 2024 marketing campaign to encourage people to spend their vacation time and money in Nova Scotia. The Your Ocean Playground campaign will build on last year’s campaign success and will run through the end of summer in Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Boston, the United Kingdom and Germany. 

Building on the success of our first year, the Your Ocean Playground campaign continues to focus on seacoast delights, Maritime culture, and our 13,000 kilometres of coastline. 

Tactics include paid search, television, billboards, social media, video and display ads.

In Germany and the United Kingdom, we expanded the Your Ocean Playground campaign for this year. Ads ran from January until April and included social media, paid search, YouTube and display ads. With the announced new and returning routes from Europe for 2024 we are hopeful to welcome even more travellers from overseas.  

Our focus in Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada in 2024 will be working with communities and businesses to run campaigns highlighting Nova Scotia’s compelling attractions and activities through our partnership programs like the Digital Content Marketing Program, RADIATE Tourism Program and the Compelling Tourism Communities Initiative. There will be a wide range of tactics including both digital media and traditional media advertising. These campaigns will be seasonal to keep people exploring all year long.
