The Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia (TIANS) and Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource Council (NSTHRC) are offering two upcoming workshops with support from Tourism Nova Scotia.

Mental Health First Aid Training

Join TIANS and NSTHRC for virtual Mental Health First Aid Training  (MHFA). Much like traditional first aid, MHFA fosters the ability to identify common signs of distress and deliver immediate aid until professional assistance is accessible.

When? 
This informative training opportunity will take place virtually on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 9am-3:30pm through Opening Minds, a division of the Canadian Mental Health Commission.

Seats are limited and it is anticipated the session will fill up fast.

Building Inclusive Leadership Workshop (Coming Soon!)

As a follow up a previous half-day session, TIANS and NSTHRC, invite you to full-day workshop will build on Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility in leadership.

When? 
Scheduled for the third week in January, this session will be sure to fill quickly.
