Yarmouth Provincial Visitor Information Centre Reopens at New Location

The Yarmouth Visitor Information Centre (VIC), operated by Tourism Nova Scotia, has officially reopened in its new location at the Firefighters’ Museum of Nova Scotia located at 451 Main Street, Yarmouth. 

This new partnership will strengthen community collaboration, enhance the visitor experience, and boost traffic for both the VIC and the Museum. Conveniently located on Main Street, the site features a new accessible entrance and parking. It also offers brochure distribution opportunities for local businesses and tourism organizations throughout the season.

Firefighter's Museum of Nova Scotia

Established in 1975, the Firefighters’ Museum showcases the province’s rich firefighting history. As part of the Nova Scotia Museum and led by the local community, it showcases the evolution of firefighting equipment and techniques.
