Tourism Nova Scotia invites you to attend an in-person Travel Trade & Export Readiness Workshop.

Workshops will be held on:
Monday, February 9, 2026 in Digby, or
Wednesday, February 11, 2026 in Baddeck

Each session runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Please RSVP and indicate which session you wish to attend and whether you have dietary restrictions. 

This practical workshop is designed for tourism businesses interested in building export readiness and learning how to successfully work with the travel trade by using sales channels to attract national and international travellers. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how tour operators, online travel agencies, and international partners operate, and what is required to position your business for trade distribution and international markets.

The workshop will be facilitated by Darcie Guarderas and Jai Mukerji, Directors of Tansi Tourism Solutions. With more than 30 years of experience each, Darcie and Jai bring extensive, hands-on expertise working with domestic and international tour operators, online travel agencies, U.S.-based travel consortia, and overseas trade partners. Their work focuses on supporting small tourism businesses through export readiness, trade marketing, and understanding travel trade expectations, while also incorporating Indigenous cultural protocols and best practices.
