Nova Scotians are invited to join host Jeff Hutcheson on the Lunenburg waterfront on Tuesday, May 31, for a live taping of Canada AM.
Hutcheson, sports and weather anchor for the CTV morning show for the past 18 years announced his retirement earlier this month. Known as, king of the remote broadcast, Hutcheson is hitting the road for his final cross-Canada tour and has chosen Lunenburg for his last stop.
"I am thrilled that I will have the chance to leave the viewers with one last remote tour, doing what I love the most – showing Canada to Canadians," said Mr. Hutcheson.
Mr. Hutcheson will be speaking with locals about what there is to see and do in Nova Scotia. Join Tourism Nova Scotia, provincial and local officials, and fellow Nova Scotians for a morning of fun and surprises. The shoot will take place from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., adjacent to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic on Bluenose Drive with Bluenose II as the backdrop.
"Jeff has been a wonderful ambassador for Nova Scotia during his time with Canada AM," says Michele Saran, CEO, Tourism Nova Scotia. "We look forward to celebrating his retirement and sharing a bit of Nova Scotia with the rest of Canada."
