Tourism is a collaborative industry made up of many players, including governments, private-sector businesses, not-for-profit organizations, local residents and communities across Nova Scotia.
In this summer’s edition of Municipal Voice—the Federation of Nova Scotia Municipalities’ online magazine—Tourism Nova Scotia’s Director of Sector Development, Darlene MacDonald, writes about why communities that prioritize tourism development are more likely to attract visitors and benefit from increased travel spending.
