Our visitor services team is gearing up for the peak tourism season, and getting ready to help visitors plan their ultimate Nova Scotia vacation!
Tourism Nova Scotia operates six provincial visitor information centres (VICs). Here are the 2019 peak-season business hours for our VICs:
Amherst
Open year-round, Monday-Friday 9am to 4:30pm until June, then daily until October with hours extended to 7pm in July and August.
Halifax International Airport
Open year-round, Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm until June, then daily from 10am to 9pm until October.
Halifax Waterfront
Opening May 17, daily from 9am - 5pm, hours extended to 7pm in July and August.
Peggy's Cove
Opening May 17, daily from 9am - 5pm, hours extended to 7pm in July and August.
Port Hastings
Opening May 17, daily from 9am - 5pm, hours extended to 7pm in July and August.
Yarmouth
Opening June 10, daily from 9am - 5pm, hours extended to 7pm in July and August and extended to 9pm on days when the ferry arrives from Maine.
