Nova Scotia’s Chief Medical Officer of Health has ordered all private campgrounds to close up to and including May 1, 2020. The public health order was updated on April 9 and will be reassessed after May 1.
We realize that many campgrounds are planning to open in mid-late May and there is a lot of uncertainty around the camping season in light of the situation with COVID-19. While we certainly hope this situation will resolve soon, we can’t say for certain when business will return to normal. Campground operators can find status updates on the province’s COVID-19 website at https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus
We will continue to share any updates on our corporate website and through the inTouch newsletter.
