Compelling Tourism Communities Marketing Initiative
The Compelling Tourism Communities Marketing Initiative aims to raise awareness of Nova Scotia’s unique communities and tourism products to encourage travel throughout the province. The initiative includes:
- Summer, fall and winter digital advertising campaigns targeting Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador
- Development of compelling new photos and videos that can be used in marketing activities
- Press trips for journalists and influencers to develop stories that inspire travel throughout Nova Scotia
We are inviting partners such as regional tourism organizations, municipalities, community tourism organizations or business chambers, sector organizations, and product clusters to provide input and insight into what attracts visitors to their regions, and we will use this input to inform media itinerary, campaign and content development.
We want to hear from you through our intake form. Community insights support the development of our seasonal advertising campaigns for Atlantic Canada and the selection of locations to shoot high-quality photo and video assets to promote communities and businesses. Your input will also influence the itinerary development for travel media press trips.
We will use this input to inform the CTC Marketing Initiative activities for 2025-26. A summary of the content selected for each activity will be available on tourismns.ca.
The deadline to submit the intake form is Monday, March 31, 2025, at 4pm.
The Compelling Tourism Communities Marketing Initiative is part of the Compelling Tourism Communities Initiative suite of programs that was launched in 2022 to work with local leaders throughout the province to inspire people to visit and spend time and money in their communities.
