Festival and Event Funding

The Festival and Community Event Funding Program is designed to help sustain, grow, or improve unique community festivals and events across Nova Scotia. 

The program is open to not-for-profit organizations registered to do business in Nova Scotia, municipalities, and First Nation communities. Eligible organizations can apply for funding to support an aspect of one event per year.

The deadline to apply is February 28 at 4:00 p.m. For the application form and additional information, visit the Festival and Community Event webpage.

COVID-19 Safe Event Webinar 

Although the pandemic has made event planning challenging, festivals and events continue to be an important part of vibrant communities and tourism attraction.

Events Nova Scotia is hosting a webinar with representatives from various government departments to discuss current public health restrictions and answer questions you may have about planning safe events.
