How to Apply for the Tourism Marketing Assistance Program for Accommodations

The Province of Nova Scotia has announced the Tourism Marketing Assistance Program (TMAP) - Accommodations to help registered tourism accommodations implement marketing activities and build demand in 2022. 

Eligible operators that have between one and five rooms will receive a one-time grant of $5,000. Operators with six or more rooms will receive a one-time grant of $1,000 per room for their first 10 rooms and $500 per room for each additional room.  

How to Apply 

Accommodations who qualified for the Tourism Accommodations Restart Customer Attraction Program (TARCAP) grant in 2021 

You will receive an email from TMAP@novascotia.ca in the coming days with a link to https://surveys.novascotia.ca to verify your information and eligibility. Once you verify your information through the survey, you do not need to submit a separate application. 

You should receive this email by Monday, March 7. Please check your junk mail. If you do not receive the email by Monday, March 7, and you previously received the TARCAP grant, please contact TMAP@novascotia.ca.  

New accommodations, new owners of existing accommodations, and those that did not apply for the Tourism Accommodations Restart Customer Attraction Program (TARCAP) grant in 2021 

If you are a new accommodation, a new owner of an existing accommodation, or did not previously apply for TARCAP, you can submit the online application for TMAP now. You will not receive a survey email.

Deadline to Apply 

Applications/survey responses must be submitted no later than Friday, March 18 at 4p.m.
