Tourism continued to rebound in September, following a trend that began in July.
Nova Scotia welcomed 156,000 non-resident visitors in September 2021, an increase of 137% (or 90,000 more visitors) compared with September 2020, and a decrease of 30% (or 68,000 fewer visitors) compared with September 2019 - the smallest gap in visitation since the pandemic began.

In September 2021, there were 275,000 room nights sold across the province, an increase of 101% compared with September 2020 (up 138,000 room nights) and a decline of 12% from September 2019 (down 37,000 room nights).
