Time for a “Wintervention” – New Ads Aim to Get Nova Scotians out of the House this Winter

No hibernating on your couch Nova Scotians! We’re staging a “Wintervention” and encouraging people to take back their winter with enticing staycations and packages.

Our new winter marketing campaign aims to get people out of the house to enjoy winter activities, shopping, dining, and cozy accommodations. Nova Scotians will see television ads, billboards, digital video and display ads, and social media ads directing them to a campaign landing page featuring winter getaways and packages including packages developed by our partners in the RADIATE Tourism Program. The ads will roll out this week and continue through March – perfect timing for spring breaks!

Public safety is our top priority, and we continue to align our marketing with public health directives and adapt our messages and strategy as required. We are happy that we are now in a position to be able to safely encourage people to explore within the province again! 

The winter campaign is a reminder that Nova Scotia has so much to offer in every season and helps to encourage travel outside of the peak tourism months.
