We are excited to announce the 92 businesses currently working with us to showcase unique Nova Scotia experiences through new packages, digital marketing campaigns, and content creation.

In 2021-22, there are 70 partners from across the province participating in the RADIATE Tourism Program to create and promote packages to travellers in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island, as public health regulations permit.

The RADIATE Tourism Program offers partners coaching, market research insights, and marketing support to help tourism businesses and attractions raise their profile in the local and Maritime region. Nova Scotians and Maritimers continue to make up the majority of travellers in Nova Scotia this year. RADIATE Tourism Program partner ads feature packages offered through all seasons, until the end of March 2022. While we are starting to see more travellers from farther away, Maritime markets will continue to be important sources of revenue while national and international travel recovers.

Tourism Nova Scotia (TNS) conducted market research to determine what is appealing to these travellers and what sets Nova Scotia apart from other destinations in the region. Based on these insights, we’re working with program partners to develop and promote compelling travel packages that will encourage local and Maritime travellers to go beyond the familiar and explore more of what Nova Scotia offers.

Digital Content Marketing Program

The Digital Content Marketing Program (DCMP) is a co-investment program. Both TNS and our program partners contribute to projects that help encourage travel in Nova Scotia. Partners in the program can choose to work with us to create new content or to execute digital advertising campaigns.

In 2021-22, TNS is working with a total of 22 partners to capture photos and videos and market to travellers online. The combined total investment for 2021-22 is $1,091,000. By working collaboratively, we can stretch budgets further, ensure consistency in tourism marketing, and reach more potential visitors.
