Tourism Recovery Continues in September

Tuesday, December 20, 2022

Tourism continued to show strong recovery in September compared with last year.

According to statistics gathered by Tourism Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia welcomed 218,000 non-resident visitors in September 2022. Despite Hurricane Fiona slowing visitation by road, visitation was up 40% compared with September 2021. Visitation was down only 2% compared with 2019, when visitation to the province was also impacted by Hurricane Dorian.
