The 2017 Tourist Accommodations Needs Assessment identifies the opportunities and constraints to tourism growth in Nova Scotia related to the supply and quality of accommodations.

Accommodations operators, investors and tourism businesses can use this report to help inform their business decisions. It includes key findings and insights related to:

  • supply and demand
  • quality
  • seasonality
  • barriers to growth
  • needs and opportunities

The assessment was commissioned by Tourism Nova Scotia in partnership with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and completed by the Economic Planning Group of Canada Tourism Consultants.
