Apply Now! New Survey Program Offers Insights from Visitors to Guide Your Planning and Product Development

Wednesday, October 12, 2022

Tourism Nova Scotia is offering a new program that will give our tourism partners the opportunity to understand the views, perceptions, and experiences of past visitors to Nova Scotia to help inform future planning.

The Voice of the Visitor Survey Program is open to tourism businesses, attractions, communities, and government partners. There is no cost to participate.
We’ll work with selected partners to help achieve their research needs and develop questions that will help derive the feedback they are looking for. Partners can submit up to 10 questions, including open-ended questions. Questions can be about a specific experience at a tourism business, attraction, or destination, or they may be related to a new product or experience concept. Participants will receive a report that analyzes the results of their questions.

Read the program guidelines and apply online at https://tourismns.ca/voice-visitor-survey-program.

The deadline to apply for the first survey is Wednesday, October 26, 2022.

While timing may not be great for some communities still focused on recovery efforts following Hurricane Fiona, we wanted to move forward with the program now to allow ample opportunities for participation. We anticipate offering up to four surveys in 2022-23. Application opportunities for future surveys will be shared through our industry newsletter.
