Nova Scotia offers a wealth of culinary products and experiences. By strategically curating, positioning and creating new experiences, these culinary offerings have the ability to motivate visitation, and help ensure visitors have a great experience while they’re in Nova Scotia.
The Chronicle Herald recently shared some of the amazing culinary experiences industry operators have developed in partnership with Tourism Nova Scotia. The article showcased the Flying Apron Inn & Cookery’s Dining on the Ocean Floor as a successful culinary experience drawing high-spending national and international visitors to the Bay of Fundy. New experiences launching this year from Avondale Sky Winery and Vision Air Services were highlighted, as well as the popularity of Cape LaHave Adventures’ LaHave Islands Glamping video on social media.
The article also shared another successful collaboration with Taste of Nova Scotia’s Good Cheer Trail, Lobster Trail and Chowder Trail helping foodies find their way to amazing culinary experiences all around the province.
When asked about Nova Scotia’s growing popularity as a wine region, Heather Yule, Tourism Nova Scotia’s Manager of Experience Development, agreed that there are opportunities to increase visitor awareness of Nova Scotia as a wine destination. “We’re partnering with businesses to create unique experiences that involve wine.” She added, “there’s great work being done across the province by entrepreneurs who run the breweries and wineries and distilleries, and our partners at Taste of Nova Scotia.”
It’s wonderful to see industry initiatives taking the spotlight in the media. You can read the full article here.
