Executive Director of Tourism Nova Scotia Announced

We are pleased to announce that Darlene MacDonald is the new permanent Executive Director of Tourism Nova Scotia. Darlene has been acting in the role, and role of CEO, over the past year, and has led Tourism Nova Scotia through the transition into the Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage. She has dedicated her 25+ year career to helping grow tourism in Nova Scotia and most recently served as Director of Sector Development at Tourism Nova Scotia.

In her role as Executive Director, Darlene will take the lead in working with industry stakeholders to develop a strategy to grow tourism while addressing the new and existing challenges of these past couple years.
