The Facebook Algorithm Change 2018: What You Need to Know

If you’ve been using Facebook to market your business – you know that the algorithm Facebook uses to determine what goes in your newsfeed is ever changing. It’s no secret that Facebook is an advertising platform for businesses as much as it is a free social network for users. However, in its recent move to change the algorithm, Facebook is focusing more on the users.

A content strategy that focuses on creating conversation and engagement is necessary for Facebook posts. A social media strategy that includes paid advertising is necessary to reach your key markets.

As always, we will be keeping our eyes on the algorithm and determining what works best. Facebook will be rolling out the changes over the coming months and so we don’t fully know how it will affect us yet.

However, if they are active Facebook users they may just go in search of your page to find out more about you.
