Les Chefs! Raises Appetites for Nova Scotia Seafood in Quebec

Tuesday, May 22, 2018

Tourism Nova Scotia is enticing potential travellers in Quebec with Nova Scotia seafood dishes prepared by top chefs on CBC Radio-Canada’s popular Les Chefs! program.

On the show, competing chefs are given limited time to prepare dishes to impress judges with the ingredients provided.  Tourism Nova Scotia was the featured sponsor of episode six, which aired on May 21.  The chefs worked with Nova Scotia seafood and were challenged to create seafood chowder and lobster cakes. The winning chef, Andree-Ann, received a trip for two to Nova Scotia.

Tourism Nova Scotia is a program-sponsor for 10 weeks, from April 26-June 18, 2018. In the summer of 2017, Les Chefs! generated an average audience of 710,600 viewers per episode. It is the number one show in Quebec for people over age 35.

Viewers will see Tourism Nova Scotia ads for all 10 weeks, including our 30 second video, plus they can enter for a chance to win a trip for two to Nova Scotia online at ici.radio-canada.ca/leschefs.

We’re thinking outside the box to connect with travellers in our key markets and highlight the world-class culinary and cultural experiences Nova Scotia offers.
