Marketing Partnership Program Helping Businesses Reach More Travellers Online

Tuesday, September 24, 2019

Tourism Nova Scotia is partnering with tourism businesses and organizations from across the province to promote Nova Scotia to the world through the Digital Content Marketing Program.

The Digital Content Marketing Program (DCMP) is a co-investment program. Both Tourism Nova Scotia (TNS) and our program partners contribute to projects that help attract first-time visitors to the province. Partners in the program can choose to work with us to create new content or to execute digital advertising campaigns.

In 2019, TNS is working with 15 partners to capture photos and videos, and 17 partners on advertising. The combined total investment for 2019 is $1,037,000.

Digital Marketing Partners:

Content Partners:

Partners investing in content creation will receive high-quality photos or video for their own marketing needs, and the content created may be used in TNS’s marketing. For example, content from the program has been used in our consumer ads, social media ads, in the Doers & Dreamers Guide, and on NovaScotia.com.

Partners investing in digital advertising are working with our digital marketing experts and Google to create and implement customized digital marketing plans that include search engine marketing, social media, and video advertising. Partners will also have training opportunities to help boost their marketing skills.

By working collaboratively, we can stretch budgets further, ensure consistency in tourism marketing, and reach more potential visitors.
