Tour Operators Apply Now! Partner with Us to Promote Packages

Wednesday, July 3, 2024

Tailored for tour operators across the province, the Tour Operator Partnership Program is a 50/50 co-investment opportunity that expands your marketing efforts, attracts more visitors and ultimately strengthens our presence in development markets and grows local tourism.

TOPP will match your marketing investments dollar for dollar, doubling your budget for promoting your tour offerings. Partners will also receive market research insights, product development and planning and support for execution of these channel activities.

Who can participate?
This program is open to Nova Scotia tour operators and national and international inbound tour operators selling multi-day travel packages.  Tour operators must have been in operation for at least one year with a focus on marketing and managing the sale of the packaged tourism product to fully independent travellers and/or groups, and can demonstrate engagement in established sales and marketing channels, including having a strong website and social media channels.

Why participate?
Nova Scotia had a strong tourism recovery in 2023 with visitation up, accommodation sales surpassing pre-pandemic levels and growth in overseas visitors. With more and more airline partnerships and European routes to Nova Scotia being announced, there are more opportunities to attract national and international visitors. Research indicates that travellers from our targeted markets in the United Kingdom and Germany are likely to use a tour operator or travel agent to book their vacations in Nova Scotia,  and by working together, we can extend marketing activities to reach more of these potential visitors.

Read the guidelines and apply now!

TNS will continue to accept applications until the program budget is fully allocated up to February 28, 2025.

Applications will be assessed when they are received. There is no cost to participate.
