Join Tourism Nova Scotia and Digital Nova Scotia for two virtual workshops on basic graphic design using Canva. You’ll come away with an understanding of branding consistency and graphic design concepts, as well as skills to create projects using the Canva design platform. These workshops will be led by Amy Harrison of Pixels and Pieces Design.
Canva Level 1
The first workshop will take you through branding basics outlining the graphic design concepts of readability, hierarchy, and consistency. The workshop includes a hands-on step-by-step Canva exercise using a template.

Canva Level 2
In the second workshop, you will work through a hands-on step-by-step Canva project without a template. The workshop will focus on the graphic design concepts of symmetry, balance, and space.
