Visitor Exit Survey

The Nova Scotia Visitor Exit Survey (VES) is a key information source for Tourism Nova Scotia and tourism industry stakeholders. It updates fundamental non-resident visitor characteristics and trip profile information. The VES provides vital trending information for use by a variety of stakeholders within the tourism industry, and offers the opportunity to explore new trends and initiatives in product development, marketing, and industry partnerships. The VES has been conducted since the 1960’s, and was most recently conducted in 2017.
