The Tourism Digital Assistance Program – Communities can help you develop and leverage online tools to effectively enhance your community’s digital profile as a travel destination.

Tourism Nova Scotia is partnering with Digital Nova Scotia to match program participants, including municipalities and tourism organizations, with qualified digital consultants to address defined digital needs.

Participants in the program benefit from:

  • Consultant services valued up to $15,000

Eligible services:

  • Website Design & Development (includes AI Powered Chatbot and Automations)
  • Social Media Planning 
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Digital Marketing Planning
  • Photography and/or videography to fill content gaps
  • Copywriting
  • Data Analytics
  • Digital Branding & Design 
  • E-commerce 
  • Online Booking 

How to Participate

The program is open to Nova Scotia municipalities, chambers of commerce, regional tourism marketing organizations and membership-based organizations focused on tourism.

Complete the online application to share how you would like to improve your communtiy's online presence. Digital Nova Scotia will match selected businesses with expert consultants specializing in the strategies you need.

TNS and DNS are dedicated to advancing equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility (EDIA) in Nova Scotia. We encourage and prioritize applications from equity-seeking businesses and organizations, as well as those that offer tourism activities that amplify and reflect equity-seeking communities, experiences and voices. For example, preference will be given to applications from Mi'kmaw and African Nova Scotian businesses and organizations.

Applications for the 2025-26 Tourism Digital Assistance Program - Communities is now open. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. ADT.
