Anchor Long-stay Package Program

Collaborate with Tourism Nova Scotia to develop and market uniquely Nova Scotia packages for long-stay pleasure travellers and digital nomads.

The program will help you:

  • Develop appealing packages for a new type of traveller, with potential to extend your tourism season
  • Create new extended stay opportunities for your business, making it easier to forecast revenues and fill up quieter business days
  • Raise awareness of your business through compelling marketing of long-stay packages

Long-stay travel packages developed under this program are offered for a minimum of 6 nights and include accommodation with some meals in addition to uniquely Nova Scotia experiences, products, or activities.

Partners in the program will receive:

  • Market research insights about what appeals to long-stay travellers
  • Coaching on experience and package development
  • Promotion of packages on a new long-stay package landing page on NovaScotia.com supported by Tourism Nova Scotia’s long-stay traveller marketing campaign

How to Participate

Apply with a proposed package of minimum 6-nights to appeal to Canadian long-stay travellers. Applicants may submit up to two packages for the target markets of long-stay pleasure travellers or digital nomads.

See Our 2021 Program Partners

Tourism Nova Scotia worked with 12 partners in 2021-22 to create 17 packages that range across the province and all seasons. The packages were included on a Stay Longer landing page on NovaScotia.com, which was supported through a digital marketing campaign targeting Ontario and Quebec in March 2022.
