Nova Scotia's Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage (CCH) recently launched the Nova Scotia Event Strategy.
CCH is the lead organization for Nova Scotia in the attraction, investment, support and development of major events. Nova Scotians helped shape the strategy, and will be a key partner in implementing the strategy in the months and years ahead.
Nova Scotia is a proven leader in hosting successful major national and international events and is home to several significant homegrown events. We are now ready to take this success to the next level, building a diverse, long-term calendar of events.
The Nova Scotia Event Strategy is the first of its kind for Nova Scotia. The strategy focuses on six key pillars which provide focus for government and communities on the development and attraction of events.

The Nova Scotia Event Strategy will lead the province forward in growing events and our economy, showcasing and celebrating our culture, enhancing cultural diversity, encouraging volunteerism and sports opportunities for our youth, and leaving a positive social impact on communities across the province.
