Update to Tourism Nova Scotia’s Photo and Video Library

Wednesday, April 29, 2020

Did you know that Tourism Nova Scotia has a free digital library of photos and videos that tourism businesses and organizations can use to promote travel to the province?

You can request access to the library at https://novascotia.barberstock.com/

If you’re already a regular user of the digital library, you’ll notice a few changes the next time you log in.
First, the website url has changed, so please update your bookmark to https://novascotia.barberstock.com/.

You’ll also notice that the categories have moved from the left-column to the top-navigation filter, and the site has been rebranded as “Simpleview." There are also more ways to filter the videos and images now, and you can choose to view them in a list rather than a grid. These updates should enhance your ability to search through all the content.

To download images or videos, select the cloud icon underneath the file. A pop-up will appear with the file type/size options. Select the file and it will be sent to your Download Queue. From there, you can save the file to your computer.

If you have questions about using the library or experience any issues, please contact Sunny Bray, Marketing Coordinator, at sunny.bray@novascotia.ca.

If you are using photos or videos from our library, please be sure to follow our terms of use which you can find in the left-hand menu of the library.
