The Tourism Marketing Assistance Program will help registered tourism accommodations with marketing activities to attract visitors for overnight trips to Nova Scotia’s communities and encourage them to spend at local businesses.
The funds can be used for marketing expenses like advertising, package development, promotions (e.g., third night free, stay two nights and local breakfast is included), and investments in products or experiences that will enhance the visitor experience and increase the overall appeal of the business. Funds may not be used to provide direct discounts.

This program is open to eligible fixed roof accommodations.
If your business applied for and was eligible to receive funding from the Tourism Accommodations Restart Customer Attraction Program (TARCAP), you are eligible for TMAP. You will receive an email from Tourism Nova Scotia to confirm your eligibility for TMAP. If you received funding through TARCAP, but have not yet received an email, please contact TMAP@novascotia.ca before submitting a new application.
If you are a new accommodation, a new owner of an existing accommodation, or did not previously apply for TARCAP, and your business is eligible for TMAP, please complete the following application form.
