Workshop: Building Inclusive Leadership Begins With Me

In partnership with Tourism Nova Scotia, join the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia on March 19 for a half day workshop on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility (EDIA). Participants will reflect upon inclusive leadership capabilities and examine ways of understanding equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (EDIA) from a personal, systems and organizational lens.

Tourism Scholarship Program

TIANS and NSTHRC are pleased to announce a new addition to their scholarship program, with the launch of Building Up - Tourism Employer Investment Fund. This support fund will accept applications from a business owner or senior employee of the company, as they look to enhance their skills and knowledge through a wide variety of training and learning opportunities.

15 New Provincial Parks to be Designated, Two Expanded

Nova Scotians and visitors will soon be able to enjoy 15 new provincial parks and more space at two others. These designations of Crown land will put the Province more than halfway to having 205 provincial parks as part of the parks and protected areas plan.
